Introducing new Blueprint spaces soon

Introducing new Blueprint spaces next month

September 5, 2024

Let’s work together to alleviate hunger now while building more responsive, equitable, and sustainable food systems for the future! The Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger will introduce two new spaces next month, where we’ll continue to challenge assumptions and co-create solutions while shifting power to communities.

Our new, bi-weekly Community Voice Committee (sometimes referred to as community council) will provide a safe and powerful space only for community members. They’ll define their own committee and influence systems change through a lived-experience perspective. Attend the first meeting on Thursday, October 3, from 12 - 1 p.m. Complete the interest form if you’re interested in participating. Contact Charlie Kestler, our Community Justice Manager, with any questions.

Join us for our new monthly Communications & Accessibility Committee, beginning Thursday, October 10, from 10 - 11 a.m. We’ll use our time together to support organizations with more inclusive and accessible communications that can advance food justice and food sovereignty for all. Contact Michelle Ray, our Visibility Director, to get involved.

Stay tuned for more information, which will be shared in our next newsletter!

Interested in becoming an advocate and leader within your community? We’re relaunching our advocacy academy, originally introduced in partnership with other organizations in 2023.

Join us for our Advocacy Leadership Academy this fall! The eight-week leadership development program offers a two-hour, weekly community of learning and practice for 12 aspiring advocates. It kicks off Wednesday, October 16, with applications due Monday, September 23.
