DATA & EVALUATION RESOURCES

The Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger offers public dashboards and story maps to support partners who are working to increase local food access, alleviate hunger, advance food justice, and foster resilient food systems in their communities.

Data Dashboard

The Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger’s data dashboard will be updated with 2022 - 2023 data soon.

Use this online, bilingual tool to access local, state, and national data in one place for poverty, food access, food insecurity, SNAP and WIC participation, child nutrition, and public perceptions around hunger in Colorado.

We hope it's useful for community-led organizations in framing the issue and applying for grants as well as for state partners looking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. It also can keep us all focused on the key benchmarks that will help us move the needle to address hunger across Colorado communities.

Child Nutrition Story Map

The Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger, with support from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment and the Colorado Department of Education, updated its child nutrition story map in Spring 2024.

The online resource, initiated by the Blueprint and network partners, aims to help maximize federal child nutrition programs across Colorado. It maps out the current state of the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) – looking at participation rates and sites – to better understand and identify gaps in access as well as areas of opportunity for expanded access.

Organizations can use the interactive map to boost awareness about the programs; identify potential partnerships, new site locations, and sponsors; tell stories about their community’s needs; and promote continued program flexibility.
