Learn more about Medicaid Section 1115 Waivers
Colorado’s food policy landscape has been abuzz about Medicaid Section 1115 Waivers, which supports access to health-related social needs like food and housing. But what do these waivers actually do, and how can they help Coloradans access the food they choose where and when they need it?
Join the Blueprint’s Connecting Food and Health Project Team on Monday, March 25, from 10 a.m. - noon to learn more. Experts from Harvard’s Center for Law & Policy Innovation, the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing, and lead organizations for House Bill 2024-1322 will share more about these waivers and what they could mean for our state (beginning around 10:30 a.m.). Contact Greta Allen if you would like to join.
Call for presentations: Quarterly food access update meetings
The Bluerpint hosts quarterly food access update meetings to create space for sharing updates, building connections, and minimizing silos between state agencies and partners across the state. They’re held virtually every three months on the fourth Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. - noon, and the next one is scheduled for April 23.
If any partners are interested in presenting about their organization’s or coalition’s efforts to this diverse group of stakeholders, please contact Joël McClurg.
