Help shape the future of the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger!
As the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger continues its journey of becoming more community-centered and evolving as a connector, convener, and facilitator, we want to ensure there’s space for community voice and participation.
Now in the second phase of our yearlong strategic planning journey, we’re seeking your input on our biggest questions around transformation. Your insights and perspectives can help shape the Blueprint’s future, so we hope you’ll participate.
As a member of our statewide network, you can contribute in one or more of the following ways:
ONLINE SURVEY
The survey closed on Friday, September.
Nearly 170 people participated, and we heard from many with lived or living experience with hunger, grant recipients, and representatives of nonprofit or other community-based organizations.
LISTENING SESSIONS
Join us for one of five virtual listening sessions in September or early October! They’ll take place during the following Blueprint-hosted meetings (in order by date) — and anyone is welcome to attend.
Workgroup 5:
Maximizing Child Nutrition Programs
Monday, September 11 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Workgroup 4:
Increasing Enrollment in SNAP and WIC
Wednesday, September 20 from 1 - 3 p.m.
Workgroup 2/3:
Ensuring Access to Healthy Food in Colorado Communities
Wednesday, September 27 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Federal Policy Committee
Thursday, September 28 from 3 - 4 p.m.
Workgroup 1:
Building Public & Political Will to End Hunger
Thursday, October 12 from 9:30 - 11 a.m.
As part of our commitment to equity, we offer interpretation in Spanish and English, along with closed captioning, during all Blueprint-hosted meetings and activities. Compensation is also available to those who participate outside of their regular job (including the online survey).
These input opportunities are done in partnership with our strategic planning partner, Point b(e) Strategies. They helped us design our 12-month plan and timeline for transformation, which officially kicked off in March 2023.
We can only create community-driven goals and solutions – and firmly center equity and community voice in the network's future efforts – if we hear from those doing the work, day in and day out, in their communities.
Your involvement can make a real impact, and we can't wait to see what we'll achieve together.
