The Blueprint’s Workgroup 4: Increasing SNAP & WIC Enrollment meets virtually on the third Wednesday of each month from 1 - 2:30 p.m. On February 21 from 1 - 2 p.m., the Colorado Department of Human Services will host a stakeholder session to gather feedback on draft regulations for implementing the fuel assistance program called Energy EBT and widely known as “Heat & Eat.” The program, created by House Bill 2021-1105, makes an annual fuel assistance payment to SNAP households that have not already received LEAP in order to qualify them for the standard utility allowance to maximize their SNAP benefits.
