Community Table began in 1982 as a grassroots food pantry in Arvada. Good Shepherd Food Bank is located in Northglenn, CO. it has been a neighborhood food bank for 35 years and has tried to be responsive to the needs of our ever growing community. Over the past 9 months we have more than doubled in the number of clients served. We do not have any boundaries and will serve anyone who walks through our door that is in need. Additionally, we encourage our volunteers to be responsive to the needs of our clients. We've offered condensed Spanish classes for volunteers. We also offer English Language Development classes for our clients. The input from our clients is also important. We've surveyed clients in the past with regards to days/times for open hours. Recently, we expanded our hours by 45 minutes per day. We're seeking culturally responsive food for distribution as well. Overall, Good Shepherd Food Bank strives to be an inclusive, loving oasis for our many clients.

Mutual Aid Partners

Village Exchange Center

The Village Exchange Center’s mission is to celebrate religious and cultural diversity by providing a hub for programs, organizations, and services that support integration, engagement, and empowerment while respecting and honoring our immigrant and refugee communities’ unique traditions and values.  The Village Pantry strives to provide culturally familiar food to each of the diverse communities served.  Over the past two years, demand for the Village Pantry has grown exponentially, largely due to the economic impacts of the Covid pandemic. The Village Pantry is now serving over 700 families (3,430 individuals) per week, distributing an estimated 12,000 lbs of food each week. The pantry relies on 50-100 volunteer service hours per week, with a hybrid of American-born volunteers working alongside volunteers who are themselves refugees and immigrants from the populations VEC serves.

Project Protect Food Systems Workers

Project Protect Food Systems Workers is a coalition of immigrants, farmers, scholars, activists, organizers, and workers dedicated to identifying and addressing the needs of the essential workers who power our food system. We provide resources and information through the Project Protect Promotora Network to improve health equity in agricultural worker communities across Colorado.

Community Table

For nearly four decades, Community Table has been building a stronger and more resilient community by providing nourishment to struggling families along with the resources and support they need to become self-reliant. We will use grant funds to help offset the pandemic-related impacts on our supply chain, round out our nutritional pantry mix, and provide culturally responsive and kid-friendly food options. Annually we distribute approximately 1.4 million pounds of food to 75,000 hungry adults, children and seniors. This funding will help us meet the current need and expand our hunger-relief efforts to families who have found themselves hungry for the first time due to the pandemic.

The Action Center

The mission of The Action Center is to provide an immediate and compassionate response to those in our community experiencing hardship by offering resources and services to stabilize lives and promote pathways to lasting change. Established in 1968, The Action Center is the most comprehensive nonprofit human services organization serving Jefferson County. We typically provide food, clothing, mail services, rent and utility assistance, case-managed programming, and connections to employment, education, and health services to 20,000+ people a year. The number of households we provide with food has more than doubled during the pandemic. The Action Center also distributes food to many schools to ensure that students and families in disproportionately impacted communities have access to nutritious foods. 

Emergency Family Assistance Association

Since 1918, the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) has provided safety net services for marginalized residents of Boulder and the surrounding mountain communities. To prevent homelessness and hunger, we provide housing for unsheltered families, basic needs financial assistance, and food from our Food Pantry. With the majority of our participants currently relying on our Food Pantry as their main source of food, this grant will help us dramatically increase the variety and quantity of fresh produce, meats and dairy we can offer, as well as expand our stock of Latinx food items.

Our mission is to foster camaraderie among U.S. Veterans of overseas conflict.   To serve our Veterans,  the military,  and our homeless communities.   To advocate on behalf of all veterans.   To assist homeless veterans and veterans in need to help find shelter,  pay utilities,  rent,  and other services that are needed.  To provide resources to enhance their lifestyles.   To supplement food needs to veterans and the community at large.   We provide assistance to all who ask as allowed by our charter. 

Ecumenical Church of Pueblo West

The goal of the Ecumenical Church of Pueblo West "Hands and Feet Outreach" Food Pantry is to provide hunger relief for families that are in Pueblo West and the surrounding communities. Our hope is that we can help fight the epidemic of hunger and assist in eradicating poverty one life, one family at a time. 

Pueblo Cooperative Care Center

Pueblo Cooperative Care Center (PCCC) serves low income, no income, homeless, homebound, disabled, senior citizens and veterans from Pueblo County, and includes Pueblo and the most rural and isolated communities of Avondale, Beulah Valley, Blende, Boone, Colorado City, Pueblo West, Rye, Salt Creek and Vineland. For nearly 40 years PCCC has been providing emergency food pantry services (Food Sack Program) to individuals and families who are needy and experiencing food insecurity and struggling with hunger. All services are provided at zero cost to clients. 

Centro Cristiano Amistad de Denver

The mission is to provide basic human resources to all people who need them, regardless of their country of origin, race, gender or socioeconomic status. Our vision is to feed the hungry, love the lonely, serve where there is need, and make an impact on the lives of people physically and spiritually.

Broomfield FISH Food Bank and Family Resource Center

The mission of Broomfield FISH is to meet our neighbors' basic human needs and provide them with the hope and tools to rise out of poverty.  As a food bank and family resource center serving low-income Broomfield county residents, our goal is to prevent hunger and homelessness. FISH will use grant funds to purchase more locally-sourced, healthy, and nutritious food for our Broomfield families in need and expand mobile delivery options.

Metro Ministries, Inc

Metro Ministries serves the poor and working poor of the greater Denver Metropolitan area.  Our partnerships with local Housing authorities give us the ability to reach those who may otherwise be overlooked.

We Don’t Waste

We Don’t Waste believes nutritious food should go to people, not landfills. We Don't Waste reduces hunger and food waste in the Denver area by recovering quality, unused food from the food industry and delivering it free-of-charge to food pantries, soup kitchens, schools, and shelters serving those in need. Since 2009, We Don’t Waste has recovered and distributed more than 161 million servings of food to those in need.

The Salvation Army of Loveland

The Salvation Army of Loveland and Berthoud have given out assistance to 45,595 people last year. Assistance includes emergency shelter and respite lodging at hotels, rent and homelessness prevention, clothing and homeless gear, diapers and baby items, hygiene kits and PPE, food and snacks, pet food, bus passes and gas vouchers, Thanksgiving food baskets and Christmas gifts, youth summer camps, and school supplies. Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, the doors of The Salvation Army have remained open and will continue to stay open to serve those in need.

Sparrow House Ministries

Sparrow House Ministries is located in Lamar, Colorado.  We are a faith-based ministry that provides emergency food assistance, while offering encouragement to the less fortunate in our community.  On a monthly basis, approximately 1200 people are served from Prowers County and the extended rural areas. Our clients come to us from varying backgrounds and situations.  Some are working families just trying to make ends meet, some are addicts, some are single parents trying to keep up, some are homeless, some are elderly or disabled.  Regardless of their situations we believe that every person is valuable and needs love, attention, and the basic necessities of food, shelter, and clothing. 

Bienvenidos Food Bank

Bienvenidos Food Bank has provided food assistance for neighbors in need throughout the Denver metro area for 45 years. Our mission is to ensure that no one will go hungry in our community. Families and individuals may choose the food they need on a weekly basis and we strive to always provide healthy choices including fresh fruits and vegetables that many families struggle to afford. We operate a store-front pantry as well as mobile pantries that reach those in high-need neighborhoods, provide grocery delivery for seniors and shut-ins, and support local schools and nonprofit agencies with on-sight food assistance to better serve families in those neighborhoods.  

Redeeming Love Fellowship Church

The Redeeming Love Fellowship Church Food Bank endeavors to meet the physical need for substance for anyone that needs it and encourages everyone to partake of the spiritual food provided by the ministries of the church. We offer Food 4 Food!

Atlas Preparatory School

Atlas Preparatory School prepares and empowers all students for success on their post-graduate paths through educational excellence, character development, and community engagement. Atlas goes beyond a school and is considered a hub for services by our students, families, and surrounding community. Our Food Pantry is open to anyone in the community expressing need.

Regis University 

Regis University offers a food pantry on our NW Denver campus called the Cupboard. The Cupboard provides free meals and snacks for students, staff, and their families on a daily basis. We also welcome members of the community who are facing food insecurities to visit our pantry on a monthly basis, or more often when food quantities make it possible to do so.

EChO, Evergreen Christian Outreach

EChO has been identified as a model food bank, letting shoppers choose their own items within established guidelines. This model has proven to re-establish and bolster self-esteem in people who sometimes need that very support. Choice is a freedom everyone enjoys and offering it in a food pantry can build a client's self-worth and confidence. As a leader in this regard, it is incumbent upon EChO to promote these concepts, try new ideas and plan for future developments. It is the very core of what defines “community”.

Family Resource Center

FRC operates Blessing Boxes throughout Sterling in rural northeastern Colorado. These Blessing Boxes allow people to access food 24 hours a day. FRC also has a small indoor food pantry where meats, eggs, and milk are offered.

The mission of Food for Hope is we empower and nourish our community by providing nutritious food to children in need.  Our organization works with school districts to identify students struggling with hunger and get them the resources they need. 

Jewish Family Service of Colorado (JFS)

JFS received support for its Weinberg Food Pantry that removes barriers for disproportionately vulnerable populations through its internal and community partnerships to serve individuals and families throughout the entire Denver metro area affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds will support the Food Pantry’s operations to purchase food for distribution and underwrite staff hours and wages. We will be using philanthropic funding to deploy a mobile food pantry—a vehicle that can visit communities where Afghan refugees are resettling and the Safe Parking site to distribute culturally relevant foods as well as foods that do not require intense preparations for families experiencing homelessness.

A Woman’s Place

A Woman's Place is a domestic violence safehouse located in Greeley, Colorado.  We operate a confidential food pantry to provide food to residents staying at the shelter.  Our 29-bed facility is the only domestic violence shelter in Weld County. 

Sister Carmen Community Center

Sister Carmen Community Center (SCCC) is a non-religious agency that has provided assistance to residents of East Boulder County who are in need, without discrimination, since 1978. Our origins stem from Sister Carmen Ptacnik, a Catholic nun who was assigned to assess the needs of the people in Lafayette, Colorado in 1970. She distributed food and clothing to anyone in need and particularly connected with the Spanish speaking population. The community embraced and continued her humanitarian efforts, leading us to eventually become the organization we are today, offering critical resources to thousands of individuals and families and distributing over 1 million pounds of food a year.

The Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley, a program of La Puente Home, addresses the immediacy of hunger and malnutrition in the San Luis Valley by providing nutritious food to individuals and families in need.

Southwest Improvement Council

Over the years, SWIC has grown to provide services addressing wellness, health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, socialization, and aging-in-place for older adults, and education, recreation, employment, affordable housing, housing counseling and homebuyer education for younger community members. Lord’s Daily Bread

Lord's Daily Bread provides food, counseling and referrals to the poor and homeless in the Denver Metro area, transforming lives while restoring hope and dignity. For over 20 years, LBD has provided lifesaving resources to some of the most vulnerable people in Denver, who are at particular risk of hunger and disconnection from resources during the current pandemic. 

Eastside Action Support Team

We are a non-profit on the East Side of Pueblo. We are committed to improving the image of the east side of Pueblo through community outreach programs. We seek to increase the quality and safety of our neighborhoods, working with law enforcement and other communities and organizations. We currently oversee a Mobile Food Bank at Lucero Library on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.

By utilizing and bringing together community resources Crosses for Losses/My Neighbor's Cupboard will provide food and other assistance to individuals, families, and communities. Our goal is to ensure no one goes without a basic need. 

Community Care Collective

Community Care Collective serves all residents of Saguache County and beyond on an equity-based model. We believe that healthcare, nourishment, and community are rights - not privileges. We provide supportive healthcare services and work in collaboration with the Crestone Food Bank to ensure access to healthy food for all of our neighbors.

LiftUp of Routt County

LiftUp of Routt County is a 501c3 nonprofit that has provided help and hope to neighbors in need since 1996. Respecting the dignity of every person, LiftUp serves the community by providing resources and assistance to meet basic human needs and strengthen self-sufficiency. LiftUp is comprised of three departments: Food Banks/Community Support, Thrift Store, and Donation Center. They also have Community Gardens, comprised of a greenhouse and eighteen raised garden beds, in which food is grown for the Food Banks. LiftUp accepts gently used, donated goods from community members and, in turn, sells them in the Thrift Store to help fund programs and operations. In 2020, LiftUp distributed 75,740 snacks and lunches to school-age children, 110,098 pounds of food, 1,452 boxes of USDA food staples and provided financial assistance to keep 265 families in their home, 74 families with heat, 29 neighbors with scholarship, healthcare, fuel or transportation help and sold 101,864 items in their Thrift Store. The Gathering Place

The mission of The Gathering Place is to provide a community of safety and hope where positive relationships, choice, and essential resources transform lives. TGP is the only agency in metropolitan Denver specifically dedicated to serving women, transgender individuals, and their children who are experiencing poverty and homelessness.

Food Bank for Larimer County

Grant funds will be used to purchase food from local producers for distribution through our Fresh Food Share pantries. Our largest program, Fresh Food Share distributes enough food for nearly 7 million meals each year. Families and individuals facing hunger can pick up free groceries at our traditional and mobile food pantries in Fort Collins, Loveland and Berthoud. By helping the Food Bank for Larimer County purchase more food from local sources, this grant will increase the variety of fresh, nutritious options available at our pantries. 

Now Faith Church

Now Faith has been meeting community needs for over 38 years, providing pop-up food assistance to our Northeast Denver and Aurora Communities. We realize we show the love of Christ by being servants in our community and feeding his people both spiritually and naturally. 

OUR Center

OUR Center's mission is to help people move toward self-sufficiency, first by helping them meet their basic survival needs such as food, housing, utilities, childcare, clothing or affordable child care, and then by providing budget counseling financial literacy education, and case management services to assist them in moving out of generational and/or situational poverty.

Las Animas Helping Hands

Las Animas Helping Hands seeks to provide emergency assistance to individuals and families in Bent County and the surrounding area while providing opportunities to develop self-sufficiency. We consider all requests.

YMCA of Metro Denver

The YMCA Beyond Hunger program works to ensure all have access to healthy and nutritious food. Food is distributed weekly and includes bags filled with a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins, dairy, and grains. The bags are first come, first serve, and pick up will be curbside. 

Denver Green School Food Pantry

Food Pantry available every Saturday from 10:00-12:00 at Denver Green School 6700 East Virginia Ave.  All are welcome. We are a totally choice food pantry. Please come and choose the foods you enjoy eating.

Spirit of the Sun

An Indigenous womxn-led nonprofit located on Očhéthi Šakówiŋ, Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), Tséstho’e (Cheyenne), hinono’eino’ biito’owu’ (Arapaho) land, Comanche, and 48+ other tribes sacred land, working to empower Native communities, one youth at a time.

Rising Up

Rising Up manages and operates the Client Choice Food Pantry, the largest food pantry in Northeastern Colorado. The Client Choice Food Pantry is just what it says it is by allowing people to choose for themselves what products they receive. It is a critical part of Morgan County's efforts to end hunger as it empowers choice which provides a sense of dignity and control, and allows for the help received to be the best possible fit for each unique situation. Engaging constituents through direct relationship and open dialogue is critical to providing a service that best meets the needs of the community with compassion and respect. 

Lifespan Local 

Lifespan's mission is to cultivate community well-being through partnerships with local residents and community champions. Part of this work includes leading the Southwest Food Coalition - a group of food champions dedicated to addressing food insecurity and food sovereignty at a hyper local level.  

Food for Hope

The mission of Food for Hope is we empower and nourish our community by providing nutritious food to children in need.  Our organization works with school districts to identify students struggling with hunger and get them the resources they need. 

 A Woman’s Place

A Woman's Place is a domestic violence safehouse located in Greeley, Colorado.  We operate a confidential food pantry to provide food to residents staying at the shelter.  Our 29-bed facility is the only domestic violence shelter in Weld County. 

Sister Carmen Community Center

Sister Carmen Community Center (SCCC) is a non-religious agency that has provided assistance to residents of East Boulder County who are in need, without discrimination, since 1978. Our origins stem from Sister Carmen Ptacnik, a Catholic nun who was assigned to assess the needs of the people in Lafayette, Colorado in 1970. She distributed food and clothing to anyone in need and particularly connected with the Spanish speaking population. The community embraced and continued her humanitarian efforts, leading us to eventually become the organization we are today, offering critical resources to thousands of individuals and families and distributing over 1 million pounds of food a year.

Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley

The Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley, a program of La Puente Home, addresses the immediacy of hunger and malnutrition in the San Luis Valley by providing nutritious food to individuals and families in need.

Fresh Start Center

Homeward Alliance

Homeward Alliance is a Larimer County-based non-profit that exists to empower individual and families who face homelessness to survive, move forward and thrive.  We provide a range of services to about 5,000 individuals each year: everything from basic-needs assistance to behavioral healthcare, employment- and housing-focused case management, and more. We are also the Homeless Management Information System Lead Agency for the recently formed Northern Colorado Continuum of Care. We operate the Murphy Center—host to 20 independent nonprofits and the hub of services for people experiencing housing insecurity in Larimer County.

Program and a response to rising food insecurity in Golden, Colorado. As our community begins to transition out of the crisis caused by COVID-19, BGOLDN is recentering programming that increases food security for Golden area students and their families.

Food Bank of the Rockies

As the largest hunger relief organization in the Rocky Mountain Region and with the mission to ignite the power of community to nourish people facing hunger, Food Bank of the Rockies is uniquely suited to answer the enormous challenge of food insecurity that currently affects one out of every eight Coloradans. During 2020 and the height of the pandemic, Food Bank of the Rockies distributed more than 100 million pounds of food across our total service area. We currently work with 673 Hunger Relief Partners throughout Northern Colorado and offer direct services to ensure that nutritious food is being provided with compassion and care to the individuals who need it most.

Center Toward Self-Reliance

Our agency provides services and supports to individuals with disabilities in Southeastern Colorado.  Our food pantry mainly focuses on Pueblo and Fremont Counties and is open to anyone in need whether or not they have a disability.

Mt. Carmel Health, Wellness and Community Center

Mt. Carmel’s mission is to provide integrated healthcare, wellness, and community spirit. We collaborate with community partners to provide services that nurture mind, body, and spirit. Mt. Carmel programming improves the current and future wellbeing of residents in southern Colorado and includes wellness programs for senior and adult populations, youth programs which offer unique educational opportunities, and a food distribution program to ease food insecurity for our most at-risk populations and provide education and  support around food preparation and healthy food choices.

Comitis Crisis Center

Aurora's only Emergency Shelter provides hot meals for individuals and families.  Located on the Anschutz Campus at 2178 Victor Street.  Meals are also served to adults at the Aurora Day Resource Center located at 13387 E. 19th Place.

The GrowHaus is a nonprofit organization in North Denver working to cultivate community-driven food justice through food access and food and wellness education. We are currently running a no-cost and low-cost food distribution program reaching 500 families in Globeville and Elyria-Swansea every week.

Somebody Cares Project/EM Food Pantry

We are the Somebody Cares Project Our EM Food Pantry is also one of the many other things we do under our Somebody Cares Project.  Our EM Food Pantry is a mobile pantry that covers Las Animas County .  The largest county in Colorado. With over 14,000 people.  We set up a one day place to shop for clients in community centers and picnic areas in very isolated communities. Our pantries set up in five areas once a month. For many we are the only food resource they have.  Serving Seniors, singles, Vet's and families.  WE also have pick up and delivery as needed three times a week.

 Community Ministry of Southwest Denver

Community Ministry has been serving the Denver area for 53 years providing basic needs such as food, children's clothing, utility assistance, school supplies, holiday food boxes and gifts. It also works with other organizations to provide wrap-around services such as pet food, cooking classes and medical clinics.

Southwest Improvement Council

Over the years, SWIC has grown to provide services addressing wellness, health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, socialization, and aging-in-place for older adults, and education, recreation, employment, affordable housing, housing counseling and homebuyer education for younger community members. For the past 30 years, SWIC has operated in the Westwood Community Center. As an on-the-ground provider of vital services to low-income residents in Westwood, Villa Park, Valverde, Barnum West, Barnum, Athmar Park, Mar Lee, and Ruby Hill, SWIC has a deep and unique perspective on the challenges faced by the communities it serves, such as food and nutrition insecurity and limited access to services for older adults.

The Pantry of Fremont is an all volunteer client choice food pantry serving our neighbors in Canon City and all of Fremont County who need food assistance.

Eastside Action Support Team

We are a non-profit on the East Side of Pueblo. We are committed to improving the image of the east side of Pueblo through community outreach programs. We seek to increase the quality and safety of our neighborhoods, working with law enforcement and other communities and organizations. We currently oversee a Mobile Food Bank at Lucero Library on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.

Pueblo Cooperative Care Center

Pueblo Cooperative Care Center (PCCC) serves low income, no income, homeless, homebound, disabled, senior citizens and veterans from Pueblo County, and includes Pueblo and the most rural and isolated communities of Avondale, Beulah Valley, Blende, Boone, Colorado City, Pueblo West, Rye, Salt Creek and Vineland. For nearly 40 years PCCC has been providing emergency food pantry services (Food Sack Program) to individuals and families who are needy and experiencing food insecurity and struggling with hunger. All services are provided at zero cost to clients.

The Metropolitan State University of Denver Foundation, Inc., Roadrunner Food Pantry serves to fight hunger on campus by providing basic nutritional food for students in times of need.
